Balthazar can't do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It'll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes The Sorcerer's Apprentice.  REVIEW  “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice†was a fun and entertaining family movie for all ages. It made me laugh way more than I anticipated, and it keeps you engaged from beginning to end. Disney didn’t disappoint in the world of magic and imagination, and Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel share an on screen chemistry as Master and Apprentice that was quite refreshing. “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice†is totally worth the full price of admission, and if you’re a true Disney fan then you’ll also want to add this one to your collection when it comes out on Blu-ray/DVD. ~Dana Da Designated Hata® aka Nobody’s Fan®
