Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible -- inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. REVIEW There is so much that I want to say about “Inceptionâ€, and just like this movie, I’m really not sure how to explain it. I found myself leaning forward as if I were in fifth period class trying to cram study so that I could understand what the hell is going on! “Inception†will have you confused for the majority of the movie. The plot explores new levels of the human subconscious and takes you on a journey that’s a mix between real life and a dream within a dream within a dream (that’s 3 levels folks). All of this work just to implant an idea and trick the dreamer into believing that he/she conceived it, thus “Inceptionâ€. Now I will admit that the concept of this movie was quite brilliant and the special effects were pretty amazing. However, I don’t appreciate being confused or in this case being left to my own imagination to decipher an ending. I can’t in good conscious recommend “Inception†because I had to use way too much brain power to try and enjoy myself….and that made me angry. It will make for an excellent rental because then you’ll have the power to revisit scenes that your brain may need to digest the material. ~Dana Da Designated Hata® aka Nobody’s Fan® Â
