Jackie Earle Haley, Kyle Gallner, Rooney Mara, Katie Cassidy, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Clancy Brown, Connie Britton,Lia D. Mortensen,
A group of suburban teenagers share one common bond -- they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley), a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. REVIEW The first thing I asked myself when I heard that they were remaking “A Nightmare on Elm Street†was why? And now after actually sitting in the theater and watching it, I still feel the same exact way. This movie poor excuse for a remake of a horror film classic!! Freddy Kreuger is supposed to be so scary even little children are freaked out by the sight of him or the melody of his playground theme song. The thought of those razor sharp claws should strike fear into your heart, and tamper with your ability to close your eyes. Now I’ll admit that I’m a punk when it comes to scary movies, but this version of “A Nightmare on Elm Street†failed to make me flinch, jump, hide my eyes, or go stir crazy from the thrill of bloody anticipation. Don’t go wasting your time and money to see this in the theater. I say catch it on bootleg or YouTube it, but you ain’t missing a damn thing if you never get to watch it. ~Dana Da Designated Hata® aka Nobody’s Fan® Â
