Members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit are sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team -- Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar (Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Oscar Jaenada) find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from the inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max (Jason Patric). Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they're joined by the mysterious Aisha (Zoe Saldana), a beautiful operative with her own personal agenda. Together they must remain deep undercover so that they can clear their names while trying to track and stop Max from embroiling the world in a high-tech global war.

This movie had the right mix of sex appeal, action, special effects, comedy, and a brainless plot. “Losers” may have missed its chance at being a box office smash because of a lack of promotion. However, that just makes it a sleeper and hopefully that will pay off on the back end like “Smokin’ Aces”. A lot of people missed out on watching it in the theater but it spread like wildfire once it went to video. So whether you decide to watch “Losers” in the theater, on Pay-Per-View, as a rental, or simply on cable… you’re bound to enjoy it.
