Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan , Seann William Scott, Adam Brody , Guillermo Diaz , Kevin Pollak, Jason Lee, Michelle Trachtenberg
Two longtime NYPD partners are trying to locate a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card and find themselves up against Poh Boy (Guillermo Diaz), a memorabilia-obsessed gangster that will stop at nothing to get his way. Jimmy (Bruce Willis) happens to be a veteran detective but is flat broke and can’t afford to pay for his own daughter’s wedding. When he decides to sell his most prized possession to foot the bill he gets robbed before he can complete the transaction. Meanwhile his partner Paul (Tracey Morgan) continues to try and be the best cop he can be but the thought of his wife's alleged infidelity is messing with him. Together they have their work cut out for them but that’s only if they can only keep their eyes on the ball. REVIEW  “Cop Out†wasn’t half as funny as I had hoped for it to be. Once again ladies and gentlemen, I have been hoodwinked, bamboozled, and led astray! I saw a couple of funny previews and automatically assumed that it’s got to be good because Bruce Willis and Tracey Morgan were starring in it. WRONG! They may have been the new interracial comedy cop duo to hit the silver screen since Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker but they aren’t even in the same league. Although the movie may have been directed by Kevin Smith aka Silent Bob… please don’t get it twisted and believe that that gives this film any street cred because it doesn’t. “Cop Out†had random moments of funniness that were given to you here and there. No amount of intoxication is going to make this piece of trash any better. Do yourself a favor and wait to watch this one on cable. I’m still so pissed off that I don’t even recommend wasting a rental slot for it. ~Dana Da Designated Hata® aka Nobody’s Fan™
