An out-of-the-way diner becomes the unlikely battleground for the survival of the human race. When God loses faith in Mankind, he sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. Humanity's only hope lies on the birth of an unborn child, a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner, and the Archangel Michael (Paul Bettany). REVIEW I hope to never see the day that God loses faith in Mankind. While “Legion†may be one version of the Apocalypse, nonetheless this movie will make you think. Hata’s it’s been a really long time since I’ve seen anything that’s remotely peaked my interest when it comes to angels. Usually they’re portrayed as lovely creatures surrounded by light that couldn’t hurt a fly… but the angels in “Legion†will totally make you rethink that. This movie takes them out of that box, and we’re finally able to see a side to them that’s not all giggles and sunshine. The Archangel Michael and Gabrielle were two of the fiercest angels that I’ve ever scene (other than the devil) and I appreciate how they were portrayed. The action scenes in “Legion†were totally on point, the special effects were good (especially when it came to the angels), lots of carnage, and there were even moments that made me laugh despite the twisted religious tone of the movie. In this life we experience the good and bad, we witness the light and the dark, and although “Legion†may mess with some people’s beliefs… that’s what makes for an excellent watch. If you liked “Constantine†then you’ll certainly like “Legionâ€. It’s certainly worth the full price of admission, purchasing for your collection, or placing it on the rental list. ~Dana Da Designated Hata® aka Nobody’s Fanâ„¢
