Julia Roberts, James Franco, Richard Jenkins, Viola Davis, Billy Crudup, A. Jay Radcliff, I Gusti Ayu Puspawati, Mike O'Malley, Ashlie Atkinson
While trying to get pregnant, a happily married woman realizes her life needs to go in a different direction, and after a painful divorce, she takes off on a round-the-world journey. Based on the memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert. REVIEW What can I say about “Eat Pray Love†other than this movie was super long for absolutely no reason, and that it totally sucked! Now I love a good chick flick but “Eat Pray Love†is anything but that. During the first 30 minutes Julia Roberts character has an epiphany and discovers that she’s not happy and needs to find herself. The next 35 minutes she’s in Italy learning how to enjoy life and eat. Followed by 30 minutes of learning how to let go of the hurt in Bali through prayer and forgiveness. And during last 30 or so minutes she learns how to let love in and not be afraid. POW… there you have it! I didn’t laugh, cry, or get that warm and fuzzy feeling on the inside. “Eat Pray Love†was a big waste of time and I do not, I repeat, I do not recommend this movie at all. Not even as a bootleg. Save your time and your money. ~Dana Da Designated Hata® aka Nobody’s Fan® Â
